Individual Design.

We have been building individually-designed homes in Perth for more than 30 years and we are proud to say we have never built the same home twice! Having an individually-designed home allows you to take the best advantage of your block and take into account environmental considerations like the sun and wind. You also have the freedom to add all of the features you would like in your home, and install any fixtures and fittings that you choose, without being limited to selected product ranges.

There is a lot to consider when building a bespoke home. Planning and vision are very important, as is attention to detail throughout the build. We do this every day so we are extremely well prepared for the challenges that an individually-designed home can present.

Quality

The quality of your finished product is very important to us. With over 20 building awards including 17 Home of the Year awards, we have been recognised many times for the quality of the homes and buildings we have created.

There are of course many choices that you can make that will decrease the cost of your home, and we will always help you to identify areas where a cheaper product will be just as effective as a more expensive one, and where it is worthwhile choosing a higher quality product.

Experience

With over 30 years' experience in building award-winning individually-designed homes, John Hollywood is one of the most experienced builders in WA.

With John's son Devon (also a Master Builder) joining the company, we have the best mix of experience and up-to-the-minute knowledge that enables us to handle any project, large or small.

Supervision

We believe in supervising our projects personally, rather than employing under-qualified building "supervisors". This way you can be sure of our personal attention and you can discuss any issues with us when you meet us on site.

Fair and Transparent Pricing

Transparent pricing means that we are completely clear about our pricing from start to finish. Whether you choose to build your home on a fixed-price basis or a "cost-plus" basis, our pricing structure is simple and open and you will be able to verify everything against the receipts from suppliers.

Fairness means that we do not seek to take advantage of our clients. For example, many builders aim to make a large percentage of their profits after the contract is signed, by hoping that the client will request variations which they charge an excessive amount for. We charge a fair price for our services so that we don't need to do this. While variations do usually incur a fee, it is kept at our standard rate, and if there is no cost to us we won't charge you anything extra. This policy of fairness applies to our work generally, and it has come to be part of our reputation.
